القراءة الأولى/ أع 1: 12- 14 

إجلسوا أنصتوا إلى أعمال الرسل: بارخمار.

فرَجَعوا إِلى أُورَشَليمَ مِنَ الجَبَل الَّذي يُقالُ له جَبَلُ الزَّيتون، وهُو قَريبٌ مِن أُورَشَليم على مَسيرةِ سبْتٍ مِنها. ولَمَّا وَصَلوا إِلَيها صَعِدوا إِلى العُلِّيَّةِ الَّتي كانوا يُقيمونَ فيها، وهُم بُطرُس ويوحَنَّا، ويَعْقوب وأَندَراوُس، وفيلِبُّس وتوما، وبَرتُلُماوُس ومَتَّى، ويَعْقوبُ بنُ حَلْفى وسِمْعانُ الغَيور، فيَهوذا بنُ يَعْقوب. وكانوا يُواظِبونَ جَميعًا على الصَّلاةِ بِقَلْبٍ واحِد، معَ بَعضِ النِّسوَةِ ومَريَمَ أُمِّ يسوع ومعَ إخوته.

القراءة الثانية/ رو 16: 1- 6، 16  

من رسالة بولس الرسول إلى أهل رومية، يقول يا أخوة:   بارخمار.

أُوْصيكُم بِأُختِنا فَيْبَةَ شَمَّاسةِ كَنيسةِ قَنْخَرِيَّة، فتَقبَّلوها في الرَّبِّ قَبولا جَديرًا بِالقِدِّيسين، وأَسعِفوها في كُلِّ ما تَحْتاجُ إِلَيه مِنكم، فقَد حَمَت كَثيرًا مِنَ الإِخوَة وحَمَتْني أَنا أَيضًا. سَلِّموا على بِرِسْقَةَ وأَقيلا مُعاوِنَيَّ في المسيحِ يسوع، فقَد عَرَّضا لِلضَّرْبِ عُنْقَيهِما لِيُنقِذا حَياتي. ولَستُ أَنا وَحْدي عارِفًا لَهماُ الجَميل، بل كَنائِسُ الوَثنِيِّينَ كُلُّها لَتَعرِفُه أَيضًا. وسَلِّموا أَيضًا على الكَنيسةِ الَّتي تَجتَمِعُ في بَيتِهما. سَلِّموا على حَبيبي أَبَينِطُس باكورَةِ آسِيَةَ لِلمسيح. سَلِّموا على مَريَمَ الَّتي أَجهَدَت نَفْسَها كَثيرًا في سَبيلِكم. لِيُسَلِّمْ بَعضُكُم على بَعْضٍ بِقُبْلَةٍ مُقَدَّسة. كَنائِسُ المسيحِ كُلُّها تُسلِّمُ علَيكم.

قراءات الأنجيل/ يو 2: 12، مت 13: 53- 57، 12: 46- 50، لو 11: 27-28.

أنجيل ربنا يسوع المسيح للقديس يوحنا.

ونَزَلَ بَعدَ ذلكَ إِلى كَفَرناحوم هو وأُمُّه وإِخوَتُه وتَلاميذُه، فأَقاموا فيها بِضعَةَ أَيَّام. ولَمَّا أَتَمَّ يَسوعُ هذه الأَمثال ذَهبَ مِن هُناكَ وجاءَ إِلى وَطَنه، وأَخَذَ يُعَلِّمُ النَّاسَ في مَجمَعِهم، حتّى دَهِشوا وقالوا:((مِن أَينَ لَه هذِه الحِكمةُ وتِلكَ المُعجِزات؟ أَلَيسَ هذا ابنَ النَّجَّار؟ أَلَيسَت أُمُّه تُدعى مَريم، وإِخوَتُه يَعقُوبَ ويُوسُفَ وسِمعانَ ويَهوذا ؟ أَوَلَيسَ جَميعُ أَخَواتِه عِندَنا؟ فمِن أَينَ لَه كُلُّ هذا؟)) وكانَ لَهم حَجَرَ عَثْرَة. وبَينَما هو يُكَلِّمُ الجُموع، إِذا أُمُّه وإِخوَتُه قد وَقَفوا في خارِجِ الدَّارِ يُريدونَ أَن يَكَلِّموه، فقالَ لَه بَعضُهم:((إِنَّ أُمَّكَ وإِخوتَكَ واقِفونَ في خارِجِ الدَّارِ يُريدونَ أَن يُكلِّموكَ)). فأَجابَ الَّذي قالَ لَه ذلك:((مَن أُمِّي ومَن إِخوَتي؟)) ثُمَّ أَشارَ بِيَدِه إِلى تَلاميذِه وقال:((هؤلاءِ هم أُمِّي وإِخوَتي. لأَنَّ مَن يَعمَلُ بِمَشيئَةِ أَبي الَّذي في السَّمَوات هو أَخي وأُختي وأُمِّي)). وبَينما هو يَقولُ ذلك، إِذا امَرأَةٌ رَفَعَت صَوتَها مِنَ الجَمعِ فقالَت لَه:((طوبى لِلبَطنِ الَّذي حَمَلَكَ، ولِلثَّدْيَيْنِ اللَّذَينِ رَضِعتَهما!)) فقال:((بل طوبى لِمَن يَسمَعُ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ ويَحفَظُها!)).

طلبات..أبتهالات.. تضرعات

لنقم حسنا ونصل بفرح وثقة قائلين: طوباكِ يا مريم.

* من أجل النعمة التي نالتها مريم إذ اصبحت أم الله وأمنا، نصلي ونقول.

* من أجل اشتراك مريم في فدائنا وسعادتنا لمّا قالت ”نعم” للملاك ولوصية يسوع  ”المحبة”، نصلي ونقول.

* في عيد إنتقالك يا أمنا نرجوا أن تشفعي لنا عند أبنك الحبيب نتوسل أن تزيلي المعانات عن شعبك المسيحي في العراق نامل أن تلمسي قلوب الذين يضطهدوننا نصلي للذين يعانون مشردين لاجل أسم أبنك نثق إنكِ معنا إلى إنقضاء الدهر، نصلي ونقول.

*كما صنعتَ العظائم بمريم، فأقمْتَها بالنفس والجسد، كذلك أذكر برحمتك يا رب كلّ من فارق هذه الحياة، وأرفعه ليكون بِحَضرتِك في المنازل السماويّة، غافرًا لنا ولهم الخطايا والزلات، نصلي ونقول.

First Reading/ Acts 1: 12- 14

A reading from the Book of  Acts Barikh-Mar:

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain, which is called Olivet, which is next to Jerusalem, within a Sabbath day’s journey. And when they had entered into the cenacle, they ascended to the place where Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Jude of James, were staying. All these were persevering with one accord in prayer with the women, and with Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

This is the Word of the Lord. 

Second Reading/ Romans 16: 1-6, 16

A reading from the Second  Letter of St. Paul to Corinthians Barikh-Mar.

Now I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is in the ministry of the church, which is at Cenchreae, so that you may receive her in the Lord with the worthiness of the saints, and so that you may be of assistance to her in whatever task she will have need of you. For she herself has also assisted many, and myself also. Greet Prisca and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus, who have risked their own necks on behalf of my life, for whom I give thanks, not I alone, but also all the churches of the Gentiles; and greet the church at their house. Greet Epaenetus, my beloved, who is among the first-fruits of Asia in Christ. Greet Mary, who has labored much among you.  Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.

Gospel Reading/John2: 12; Matthew13: 53-57/ 12: 46- 50; Luke 11: 27-28

A reading from the Holy Gospel according St John.

After this, he descended to Capernaum, with his mother and his brothers and his disciples, but they did not remain there for many days. And it happened that, when Jesus had completed these parables, he went away from there. And arriving in his own country, he taught them in their synagogues, so much so that they wondered and said: “How can such wisdom and power be with this one? Is this not the son of a workman? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Jude? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Therefore, from where has this one obtained all these things?” And they took offense at him.  While he was still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak with him. And someone said to him: “Behold, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, seeking you.” But responding to the one speaking to him, he said, “Which one is my mother, and who are my brothers?” And extending his hand to his disciples, he said: “Behold: my mother and my brothers. For anyone who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” And it happened that, when he was saying these things, a certain woman from the crowd, lifting up her voice, said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you.” Then he said, “Yes, but moreover: blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

Our response is: Lord hear our prayer

• For all who celebrate Mary’s Assumption today, that they may never doubt that life continues even after the body dies… Lord, hear us.
• For musicians, choir and all who sing God’s praises in the presence of the Lord, that they may be gathered in to the liturgy of heaven..Lord, hear us.
• For our friends and relatives who are sick, at home, in hospital or in nursing homes, that they and their carers may have every grace and blessing …. Lord, hear us.
