بعدِ ما كلّمهم الرّبُّ يسوعُ صعِد إلى السماءِ وجلس عن يمين اللهِ

القراءة الاولى/ أعمال الرسل 1: 15-26

أنصتوا إلى أعمال الرسل: بارخمار

وفي تلك الأيّامِ وقَف شِمعونُ الصّفا في وسَطِ التّلاميذِ وكان هُناك جماعةٌ من النّاسِ نحوُ مئَةٍ وعشرين فقال: أيُّها الرّجالُ الإخوة كان ينبغي أن يكمُل الكتابُ الّذي سبَق روحُ القدسِ فقالهُ بفمِ داوُدَ عن يهوذا الذي صار دليلاً للّذين قبَضوا على يسوعَ، فإنّهُ قد كان مُحصىً معنا وكانت لهُ حِصّةٌ في هذهِ الخِدمة، فهذا اقتنى حَقْلاً من أُجرَةِ الخطيئةِ ثم سقَط على وجهِه إلى الأرضِ فانشقَّ من وسَطِهِ واندلقَتْ أمعاؤُهُ كُلُّها، وصار ذلك معلوماً عندَ جميعِ سُكّانِ أُورشليم وهكذا دُعيَ ذلك الحقلُ بلُغَةِ البَلدِ حَقَلْ دَما الّذي تأْويلُهُ حَقْلُ الدَّم، وقد كُتبَ في سِفْرِ المزامير: لتصِرْ دارُهُ خراباً ولا يكُنْ فيها ساكِنٌ وَلْيأخُذْ خِدمتَهُ آخر. فينبغي إذاً لواحدٍ من هؤُلاءِ الرّجالِ الّذين كانوا معَنا في كُلِّ الزّمانِ الذي فيهِ دخَل وخرَجَ الربّ يسوعُ بينَنا، منذُ معموذيةِ يوحنّا إلى اليومِ الّذي فيهِ ارتفع عنّا أنْ يصيرَ شاهداً معَنا بقيامتهِ، فقدَّموا اثنين يوسُفَ المسمَّى بَرْشَبَّا المُلقّبَ البارَّ ومتِّيا، وعندما صلّوا قالوا: أيّها الربُّ العارفُ ما في قُلوبِ الجميعِ أظهرْ أيَّ هذينِ الاثنين اخترْتَ، لكي يقبَلَ حِصَّةَ الخِدمةِ والرّسالةِ الّتي سقَط عنها يهوذا ليَذهبَ إلى موضِعِهِ، ثم ألقوا القُرعةَ فوقعتْ على مَتّيّا فاُحصي مع الرُّسُل الأَحد عشر  .

القراءة الثانية/ فيلبي 1: 27– 2: 11

من رسالة بولس الرسول إلى أهل فيلبي : يقول يا إخوة : بارخمار

إنّما فلتكُن سيرتكم كما يليقُ ببشارةِ المسيحِ حتّى إذا أتيتُ أَراكم أو كنتُ غائباً أسمعُ عنكم أنّكم ثابتون في روحٍ واحدٍ ونفسٍ واحدةٍ ومجاهِدون جميعاً في إيمان الإنجيل، غيرَ متخوِّفين في شيءٍ من الذين يُقاوِموننا دلالةً على هلاكِهم وعلى خلاصِكم. وهذا من اللهِ قد وُهِب لكم، لا أن تؤمنوا بالمسيحِ فقط بل أن تتألمّوا أيضاً من أجلِهِ، وتحتملوا الجِهادَ كما عاينتم فيَّ وتسمعونَ الآنَ عنّي. فإن كانت لكُم الآنَ تعزيةٌ في المسيحِ أو تسكينُ قلبٍ بالمحبّةِ أو شِركةٌ في الرُّوحِ أو رأْفةٌ ورحمةٌ، فأتِمُّوا فرحي بأن يكونَ لكم رأيٌ واحدٌ ومحبَّةٌ واحدةٌ ونفسٌ واحدةٌ وفكرٌ واحدٌ، ولا تعمَلوا شيئاً بالشِّقاقِ أو المجدِ الباطلِ بل فليَعُدَّ بتواضُعِ الضّميرِ كلٌّ منكم قريبَهُ أفضلَ منهُ. ولا يعتَنِ أحدٌ بما هو لنفسِه بل بما هو لقريبهِ أيضاً، وافتكروا في هذا في أنفُسِكم أي في ما افتكر فيهِ يسوعُ المسيح أيضاً، الذي إذ هو في صورةِ اللهِ لم يكُن يحسَبُ هذا اختلاساً أن يكون عديلاً لله، لكنَّهُ أخلى ذاتهُ وأخذ صورةَ عبدٍ وصار في صورةِ النّاسِ فوُجِدَ في الهيئةِ كإنسان، فوضَع نفسَهُ وأطاع حتّى الموتِ موتِ الصّليب، فلذلك رفعَهُ اللهُ جدّاً وأعطاهُ اسماً أفضلَ من الأسماءِ كلّها، لكي تجثُوا باسمِ يسوعَ كلُّ ركبةٍ ممّا في السّماواتِ وعلى الأرض وتحتَ الأرض، ويعترفَ كلُّ لسانًٍ أنَّ يسوعَ المسيحَ هو الربُّ لمجدِ اللهِ أبيهِ.

إنجيل اليوم/ مرقس 16: 9-20

إنجيل سيدنا يسوع المسيح للقديس مرقس

وقام يسوعُ باكراً يومَ الأحدِ وتراءى أوَّلاً لمريمَ المجدليّةِ التي كان قد أخرج منها سبعةَ شياطين، فانطلقت هي وبشّرت الذين كانوا معهُ وهم ينوحون ويبكون، وهم إذ سمعوا بأنَّهنَّ قُلنَ أَنَّهُ حيٌّ وأنّهُ تراءى لهنَّ لم يصدّقوهنّ، وبعد ذلك تراءى لاثنين منهم بهيئَةٍ أُخرى وهما سائران منطلِقَين إلى ضيعةٍ، وهما مضيا وأخبرا البقيّة ولا لهذين أيضاً صدَّقوا، أخيراً تراءى للأحد عشر وهم متّكئُون وبكَّتهم لقلّةِ إيمانهم وقساوةِ قلوبهم لأنّهم لم يصدّقوا الذين أبصروه قد قام. وقال لهم: انطلقوا إلى العالمِ أجمعَ واكرِزوا ببشارتي في الخليقةِ كُلَِّها، فمن آمن واعتمذ يخلُصُ ومَن لم يؤمِنْ يدانُ، وهذهِ الآياتُ تتبعُ الذين يؤمنون: باسمي يُخرِجون الشياطين ويتكلّمون بألسنةٍ جديدةٍ، ويحمِلون الحيّاتِ وإن شرِبوا سمّاً مُميتاً فلا يضرُّهم ويضعون أيدِيَهم على المرضى فيتعافَوْن، ومن بعدِ ما كلّمهم الرّبُّ يسوعُ صعِد إلى السماءِ وجلس عن يمين اللهِ. أمّا هم فخرجوا وكرزوا في كلِّ مكانٍ وكان الرَّبُّ يعضُدُهم ويحقِّقُ كلامَهم بالآياتِ التي كانوا يصنعون.

إبتهالات .. وطلبات .. وتضرعات

* لنقم حسنا ونصلّ بتقوى قائلين: يا رب إرحمنا

* بصعوده كمّل يسوع النبوءات: يا رب كي نكمل تعليمك ونصائحك ونعيش وصاياك: نطلب منك.

* يا رب من أجل تحقيق الوحدة بين المسيحيين وتضامنهم بالمحبة فيؤمن العالم ببشرى الحب ويسعوا الى تحقيق حضارة المحبة نطلب منك.

*نضع أمامك مرضَى النَّفسِ والجَسَد، كُن لهم الشِّفاءَ مِن كلِّ ما يُؤذي نفوسَهُم ويُهلِكُ أجسادَهُم، نطلب منك.

*إستقبل في حِضنك الأبويّ جميعَ الّذينّ فارقوا هذه الحياة، ولا تنظر إلى آثامِهم، بل إدعِهم ليَجلسوا معك على مائدتِكَ السماويَّة، غافِرًا لنا ولهُم الخطايا والزلاّت نطلب منك.

1st Reading / ACTS 1: 15-26

A reading from the Book of  ACTS “ Barichmar “

A few days later there was a meeting of the believers, about a hundred and twenty in all, and Peter stood up to speak. 16 “My friends,” he said, “the scripture had to come true in which the Holy Spirit, speaking through David, made a prediction about Judas, who was the guide for those who arrested Jesus. 17 Judas was a member of our group, for he had been chosen to have a part in our work.” 18 (With the money that Judas got for his evil act he bought a field, where he fell to his death; he burst open and all his insides spilled out.  19 All the people living in Jerusalem heard about it, and so in their own language they call that field Akeldama, which means “Field of Blood.”) 20 “For it is written in the book of Psalms,  “May his house become empty; may no one live in it.’ It is also written, “May someone else take his place of service.’ 21 “So then, someone must join us as a witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. He must be one of the men who were in our group during the whole time that the Lord Jesus traveled about with us, beginning from the time John preached his message of baptism  until the day Jesus was taken up from us to heaven.”  23 So they proposed two men: Joseph, who was called Barsabbas (also known as Justus), and Matthias. 24 Then they prayed, “Lord, you know the thoughts of everyone, so show us which of these two you have chosen 25 to serve as an apostle in the place of Judas, who left to go to the place where he belongs.” 26 Then they drew lots to choose between the two men, and the one chosen was Matthias, who was added to the group of eleven apostles.

2nd Reading / Philippians 1: 27-2: 11

A reading from the Letter of St. Paul to Philippians “Barichmar”  

Now, the important thing is that your way of life should be as the gospel of Christ requires, so that, whether or not I am able to go and see you, I will hear that you are standing firm with one common purpose and that with only one desire you are fighting together for the faith of the gospel. 28 Don’t be afraid of your enemies; always be courageous, and this will prove to them that they will lose and that you will win, because it is God who gives you the victory. 29 For you have been given the privilege of serving Christ, not only by believing in him, but also by suffering for him. 30 Now you can take part with me in the battle. It is the same battle you saw me fighting in the past, and as you hear, the one I am fighting still.

Your life in Christ makes you strong, and his love comforts you. You have fellowship with the Spirit,  and you have kindness and compassion for one another. 2 I urge you, then, to make me completely happy by having the same thoughts, sharing the same love, and being one in soul and mind. 3 Don’t do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves. And look out for one another’s interests, not just for your own. 5 The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had: 6 He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain  equal with God. 7 Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. 8 He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death – his death on the cross. 9 For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name. 10 And so, in honor of the name of Jesus  all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below  will fall on their knees, 11 and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

Gospel Reading/ MARK 16: 9-20

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Mark

After Jesus rose from death early on Sunday, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had driven out seven demons. 10 She went and told his companions. They were mourning and crying; 11 and when they heard her say that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe her. 12 After this, Jesus appeared in a different manner to two of them while they were on their way to the country. 13 They returned and told the others, but these would not believe it. 14 Last of all, Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating. He scolded them, because they did not have faith and because they were too stubborn to believe those who had seen him alive. 15 He said to them, “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people.  16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues; 18 if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people, and these will get well.” 19 After the Lord Jesus had talked with them, he was taken up to heaven and sat at the right side of God.  20 The disciples went and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and proved that their preaching was true by the miracles that were performed

Lord, for Pope Francis, our Patriarch Lowes Rafael, and our Bishop Emanuel your priests, deacons, religious and people and the grace and courage to bear witness to the Gospel    we pray to the Lord

Lord, for faithfulness to live out the promises of our own baptism and to diligently raise our children in the faith.. We pray …

For the poor, the sick, the burdened, for the victims of war, all those whose lives are threatened, for those who most need our prayers..We pray …

For all those who have died and all those who mourn their passing… we pray…
