القراءة الاولى/سفر  زكريا 9: 9-13

إجلسوا وأنصتوا إلى  نبوة زكريا : بارخمار

واهتفي يا بنتَ أُورشليم هوذا ملِكُكِ يأتيكِ صدّيقاً مخلِّصاً متَّضِعاً راكِباً على أتانٍ وجحشٍ ابنِ أتان، ويُبيدُ العجلةَ من أفريم والفَرَسَ من أُورشليم يكسِرُ القوسَ في القتال ويتكلَّمُ بالسّلامِ مع الأُمم ويتسلَّطُ من البحرِ إلى البحر ومن النّهرِ إلى أقاصي الأرض، وأنتَ أيضاً بدمِ عهدِكَ أطلقتَ الأسرى من الجُبِّ الّذي لا ماءَ فيهِ، أقيموا في الحِصنِ يا أسرى الجماعةِ وبدَلاً من يومٍ أُجازيكم باثنين.

القراءة الثانية/ رومية  11 : 13-18

من رسالة بولس الرسول الى رومية يقول ياأخوة : بارخمار 

فإني أقولُ لكم أَيّها الشُّعوبُ إن كانتِ الباكورةُ مقدَّسةً فكذلك العجينُ وإن كان الأصلُ مقدَّساً فكذلك الأغصان، فإن كان بعضُ الأغصانِ قد فُسِخَتْ وأنتَ الزّيتونةَ البريَّةَ طُعِّمْتَ في مواضِعِها فصِرْتَ شريكاً في أصلِ الزّيتونةِ ودَسَمِها، فلا تفتخِرْ على الأغصانِ فإن افتخرتَ فلستَ أنت تَحْمِلُ الأصلَ بل الأصلُ يحمِلُكَ، ولعلَّك تقولُ: إنَّما فُسِخَتِ الأغصانُ لأُطَعَّمَ انا في مواضِعها، حسَنٌ. إنَّ هؤُلاءِ فُسخوا لِعَدَم إيمانِهم. أمّا أنت فبالإيمان ثَبتَّ فلا تستكبِرْ في نفسكَ بل خَفْ، لأنَّهُ إن كان اللهُ لم يُشفِق على الأغصانِ الطبيعيّةِ فلعلّهُ لا يُشفِقُ عليك أيضاً، فانظُرْ إذن لُطْفَ اللهِ وشدَّتَهُ. أمَّا الشدَّةُ فعلى الّذين سقَطوا وأمّا اللُّطْفُ فلَكَ إن ثَبتَّ في اللُّطْفِ وإلا فتفسَخُ أنتَ أيضاً، وأُولئك أيضاً إن لم يثبتوا في نَقص إيمانهم يُطَعَّمون. لأنَّ اللهَ قادِرٌ أن يُطَعِّمَهم أيضاً، فإن كنتَ أنتَ الزَّيتونَ البرِّيَّ بالطبعِ قد فُسِختَ وطُعِّمتَ في زيتونٍ صريحٍ على خلافِ طَبْعِك فكم بالحَرِي أُولئك يُطَعَّمون في زيتونِهم الطبيعيّ .

إنجيل اليوم/ متي 21: 1-15

إنجيل سيدنا يسوع المسيح للقديس متي

ولمّا قرُبوا من أورشليم وجاءُوا إلى بيتَ فاجِيَ بجانبِ جبلِ الزيتون أرسلَ يسوعُ اثنين من تلاميذهِ، وقال لهما: اذهَبا إلى هذهِ القريةِ الّتي أمامكما وللوقتِ تجدانِ أتاناً مربوطةً وجحشاً معها فحُلاَّهُما واتِياني بهما، فإن قال لكما أحدٌ شيئاً فقولا لهُ: الرّبُّ مُحتاجٌ إليهما فللوقتِ يُرسِلُهُما إلى ههُنا، هذا كُلُّهُ كان ليتِمَّ ما قيلَ بالنَّبيِ القائلِ قولوا لابنةِ صِهيون هوذا مَلِكُكِ يأتيكِ متواضِعاً راكباً على أتانٍ وجحشٍ ابنِ أتانٍ، فانطلقَ التلميذانِ وصنعا كما أمرهما يسوعُ، وأتيا بالأتانِ والجحشِ ووضعا ثيابَهما على الجحشِ وركِبَهُ يسوعُ، وكان كثيرٌ من الجموعِ يفرشون ثيابَهم في الطريق وكان آخرون يقطعون أغصاناً من الشَّجر ويطرحونها في الطّريق، وكان الجموعُ الّذين يتقدَّمونهُ ويتبَعونهُ يصرُخون قائلين: أُوشعنا لابنِ داود مُبارَكٌ الآتي باسمِ الرَّبِّ أُوشعنا في الأعالي، ولمّا دخل إلى أُورشليم ارتَجَّتِ المدينةُ كُلُّها قائلين: مَن هو هذا. فقالتِ الجموعُ: هذا هو يسوعُ النّبيُّ الّذي من ناصرةِ الجليل، ودخَل يسوعُ هيكلَ اللهِ وأخرجَ جميعَ الّذين يشترون ويبيعون في الهيكلِ وقلَبَ موائِدَ الصيارفةِ وكراسيَّ باعةِ الحمام، وقال لهم مكتوبٌ: إنّ بيتي بيتَ صلاةٍ يُدعى وأنتم جعلتموهُ مغارةً للُّصوص. وقدَّموا إليهِ في الهيكلِ عُمياناً وعُرجاً فشفاهُم، ولمّا رأى رؤساءُ الكهنةِ والفرّيسيُّون العجائبَ الّتي يصنَع والصِّبيانَ يصرُخون في الهيكلِ ويقولون: أُوشعنا لابنِ داود غَضِبوا، وقالوا لهُ: أَتسمَعُ ما يقولُ هؤلاءِ. قال لهم يسوعُ: نَعَم أما قرأْتم قطُّ أَنْ مِن أَفواهِ الصِّبيانِ والرضع أعدَدْتَ تسبيحاً، وتركهم وخرَج خارجَ المدينةِ إلى بيتَ عنيا وبات هُناك.

الكاهن :المجد لله دائماً    الشعب :المجد للمسيح ربنا 

إبتهالات .. وطلبات .. وتضرعات

لنقم حسنا ونصل بفرح وثقة قائلين: يارب وفِّق بين البشر

*يا رب كي لا يكون المؤمنون بك إتكاليين، بل يعملوا مع بقية البشر لبناء العالم، ويحيوا ايمانهم:  نسألكَ يا رب

* يا رب كي تتفاهم الشعوب بينها بحوار بناء ونحل خلافاتها بالسلم والعدل والاحترام : نسألكَ يا رب  *أوشعنا مبارك الاتي باسم الرب : أعطنا يا رب ان نهتف مع الجموع ونباركك فكما دخلت اورشليم أدخل قلوبنا وأجعلنا  واحات تستقبل الناس باسمك : نسألكَ يا رب

* مع الاطفال والرضع : نرفع صلاتنا بأوشعنا أبدية ، من أجل حكام هذا البلد كندا ليسعوا إلى السلام والامان ورفع مستوى المعاشي : نسألكَ يا رب

* نصلي من أجل رعيتنا مار توما الرسول في هاملتون أهلها يا رب أن تسير في موكب السعانين قلباً واحداً ونفساً واحداً فنرفع اليك آياة المجد والتسبيح نسألكَ يا رب

*يا رب كي يعود السلام الحقيقي الى كل البلاد المضطربة ولا سيّما العراق وسوريا ليحيا الناس في الاخاء : نسألكَ يا رب

* مع الاطفال والرضّع الذين أسسوا عزّةً لأبنكَ الوحيد نرفع هُتافاً لكي تصونهم من الضرر والضياع وتَحفظهم حِمى أُمِّهم السماوية وجميع القديسين نسألكَ يا رب

* مع أمواتنا المؤمنين المنتقلين إليكَ نرفع إبتهالنا بأوشعنا أبدية على خلاصكَ الذي تمّ بابنكَ الوحيد فالفرح الابدي ينتظرُنا لأنكَ أنتَ وحدكَ غافرُ خطايانا وخطاياهم :  نسألكَ يا رب

7^th Sunday of Lent (Palm Sunday)  April 9,2016

1st Reading / Zechariah 9: 9-13

Listen to the Book of Zechariah: Barekhmar.

Rejoice, rejoice, people of Zion!  Shout for joy, you people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you! He comes triumphant and victorious, but humble and riding on a donkey – on a colt, the foal of a donkey.  The Lord says, “I will remove the war chariots from Israel and take the horses from Jerusalem; the bows used in battle will be destroyed. Your king will make peace among the nations; he will rule from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.”  The Lord says, “Because of my covenant with you that was sealed by the blood of sacrifices, I will set your people free – free from the waterless pit of exile.   Return, you exiles who now have hope; return to your place of safety. Now I tell you that I will repay you twice over with blessing for all you have suffered.

This is the Word of the Lord

2nd Reading / Romans 11: 13-24

A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans: Barekhmar

I am speaking now to you Gentiles: As long as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I will take pride in my work. Perhaps I can make the people of my own race jealous, and so be able to save some of them. For when they were rejected, all other people were changed from God’s enemies into his friends. What will it be, then, when they are accepted? It will be life for the dead! If the first piece of bread is given to God, then the whole loaf is his also; and if the roots of a tree are offered to God, the branches are his also. Some of the branches of the cultivated olive tree have been broken off, and a branch of a wild olive tree has been joined to it. You Gentiles are like that wild olive tree, and now you share the strong spiritual life of the Jews. So then, you must not despise those who were broken off like branches. How can you be proud? You are just a branch; you don’t support the roots – the roots support you. But you will say, “Yes, but the branches were broken off to make room for me.” That is true. They were broken off because they did not believe, while you remain in place because you do believe. But do not be proud of it; instead, be afraid. God did not spare the Jews, who are like natural branches; do you think he will spare you? Here we see how kind and how severe God is. He is severe toward those who have fallen, but kind to you – if you continue in his kindness. But if you do not, you too will be broken off. And if the Jews abandon their unbelief, they will be put back in the place where they were; for God is able to do that. You Gentiles are like the branch of a wild olive tree that is broken off and then, contrary to nature, is joined to a cultivated olive tree. The Jews are like this cultivated tree; and it will be much easier for God to join these broken-off branches to their own tree again.

Gospel Reading/ Matthew 21: 1-15

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew

As Jesus and his disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives. There Jesus sent two of the disciples on ahead with these instructions: “Go to the village there ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied up with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to me. And if anyone says anything, tell him, ‘The Master needs them’; and then he will let them go at once.” This happened in order to make come true what the prophet had said: “Tell the city of Zion, Look, your king is coming to you! He is humble and rides on a donkey and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

So the disciples went and did what Jesus had told them to do: they brought the donkey and the colt, threw their cloaks over them, and Jesus got on. A large crowd of people spread their cloaks on the road while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds walking in front of Jesus and those walking behind began to shout, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heavens!”

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was thrown into an uproar. “Who is he?” the people asked.

“This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee”, the crowds answered.

Jesus went into the Temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the stools of those who sold pigeons, and said to them, “It is written in the Scriptures that God said, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer’ but you are making it a hideout for thieves!”

The blind and the crippled came to him in the Temple, and he healed them. The chief priests and the teachers of the Law became angry when they saw the wonderful things he was doing and the children shouting in the Temple, “Hosanna to the son of David!” so they asked Jesus, “Do you hear what they are saying?”

“Indeed I do”, answered Jesus, “Haven’t you ever read this scripture: ‘You have trained children and babies to offer perfect praise’ “.   Jesus left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.

Prayers of the Faithful

Response is “Lord, hear our prayer”:

1. Dear God, as we celebrate on this Palm Sunday, help us to remember that day when all the adults and children waved palm branches and cheered as Jesus entered Jerusalem as King. We know Jesus rose from the dead and is alive. Help us to remember that he is our wonderful King and that we can praise him every day! We pray in Jesus’ Holy Name … Lord, hear our prayer.

1. Dear God, we thank you for everything you provided us. Many people do not know you, so please give us the strength to shout loudly and make everyone around us hear us saying “Hosanna to God in the Highest”, we pray in Jesus’ Holy Name … Lord, hear our prayer.

1. Dear God, on a palm-leaf we write to you and tell you we are sorry for being unloving and unhelpful to others not recognizing their needs, we ask for your forgiveness and help to make our hearts compassionate towards others, we pray in Jesus’ Holy Name … Lord, hear our prayer.

1. Dear God, as children we pray for our families, teachers and priest, please keep them under Your tender care, we pray in Jesus’ Holy Name … Lord, hear our prayer.

1. Dear God, we pray for the sick and all who care for them, we pray in Jesus’ Holy Name … Lord, hear our prayer.
