القراءة الأولى/ أشعيا 4: 2- 6

إجلسوا أنصتوا إلى سفر أشعيا: بارخمار.

في ذلك اليَوم، يَكونُ نَبتُ الرَّبِّ بَهاءً ومَجداً، وثَمَرَةُ الأَرض فَخراً وزينةً لِمَن نَجا مِن إِسْرائيل. ومَن أُبقِيَ في صِهْيونَ وتُرِكَ في أُورَشَليم، يُقال لَه قِدِّيس، كُلُّ مَن كُتِبَ لِلحَياةِ في أُورَشَليم. وإِذا غَسَلَ السَّيِّدُ قَذَرَ بَناتِ صِهْيونَ، ونَظَّفَ دِماءَ أُورَشَليمَ مِن وَسَطِها بِرُوحِ القَضاءِ وروحِ الإِحْراق، خَلَقَ الرَّبُّ على كُلِّ مَكانٍ في جَبَلِ صِهْيونَ وعلى مَحافِلِها غَماماً في النَّهارِ ودُخاناً، وضِياءَ نارٍ مُلتَهِبَةٍ في اللَّيل. فيَكونُ على كُلِّ المَجدِ كَنَفٌ ، وكوخٌ ظِلاًّ في النَّهارِ مِنَ الحر، ومُعتَصَماً وسِتراً مِنَ السَّيلِ والمَطَر.

كلام الرب

القراءة الثانية/ 2 قو 3: 4- 11، 17-18

من رسالة بولس الرسول الثانية إلى أهل قورنثية، يقول يا أخوة: بارخمار.

فهكذا لنا ثقة عند الله بالمسيح، ولا يَعني ذلِكَ أَنَّه بِإِمكانِنا أَن نَدَّعِيَ شَيئًا كأَنَّه مِنَّا، فإِنَّ إِمكانَنا مِنَ اللّه، فهو الَّذي مَكَّننا أَن نَكونَ خَدَمَ عَهْدٍ جَديد، عَهْدِ الرُّوح، لا عَهْدِ الحَرْف، لأَنَّ الحَرْفَ يُميتُ والرُّوحَ يُحْيي. فإِذا كانَت خِدمَةُ المَوتِ المَنقوشَةُ حُروفُها في حِجارةٍ قد أُعطِيَت بِالمَجْد، حتَّى إِنَّ بَني إِسرائيلَ لم يَستَطيعوا أَن يُحَدِّقوا إلى وَجْهِ مُوسى لِمَجْدِ وَجهِه، مع أَنَّه مَجْدٌ زائِل، فكَيفَ بِالأَحْرى لا تُعْطى خِدمَةُ الرُّوحِ بِالمَجْد؟ فإِذا كانَت خِدمَةُ الحُكْمِ على النَّاسِ مَجيدة، فما أَولى خِدمَةَ البِرِّ بِأَن تَفيضَ مَجْدًا ! فإِنَّ ما مُجِّدَ لا يُعَدُّ مُمَجَّدًا من هذه الجِهَة، بِالنَّظرِ إلى ذلك المَجدِ الفائِق، لأَنَّه إِذا كانَ الزَّائِلُ قد زالَ بالمَجْد، فما أَولى الباقِيَ بأَن يَبْقى في المَجْد! لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ هو الرُّوح، وحَيثُ يَكونُ رُوحُ الرَّبّ، تَكونُ الحُرِّيَّة. ونَحنُ جَميعًا نَعكِسُ صورةَ مَجْدِ الرَّبِّ بِوُجوهٍ مَكشوفةٍ كما في مِرآة، فنَتَحوَّلُ إلى تِلكَ الصُّورة، ونَزدادُ مَجْدًا على مَجْد، وهذا مِن فَضْلِ الرَّبِّ الَّذي هو روح.

القراءة الثالثة،/ أنجيل لوقا 15: 11- 24    

إنجيل ربنا يسوع المسيح للقديس لوقا.

وقال:((كانَ لِرَجُلٍ ابنان. فقالَ أَصغَرُهما لِأَبيه:يا أَبَتِ أَعطِني النَّصيبَ الَّذي يَعودُ علَيَّ مِنَ المال. فقَسَمَ مالَه بَينَهما. وبَعدَ بِضعَةِ أَيَّامٍ جَمَعَ الاِبنُ الأَصغَرُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ لَه، وسافَرَ إِلى بَلَدٍ بَعيد، فَبدَّدَ مالَه هُناكَ في عيشَةِ إِسراف. فَلَمَّا أَنفَقَ كُلَّ شَيء، أَصابَت ذلكَ البَلَدَ مَجاعَةٌ شَديدة، فأَخَذَ يَشْكو العَوَز. ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ فالتَحَقَ بِرَجُلٍ مِن أَهلِ ذلكَ البَلَد، فأرسَلَه إِلى حُقولِه يَرْعى الخَنازير. وكانَ يَشتَهي أَن يَملأَ بَطنَه مِنَ الخُرنوبِ الَّذي كانتِ الخَنازيرُ تَأكُلُه، فلا يُعطيهِ أَحَد. فرَجَعَ إِلى نَفسِه وقال:كم أَجيرٍ لَأَبي يَفضُلُ عنه الخُبْزُ وأَنا أَهلِكُ هُنا جُوعاً! أَقومُ وأَمضي إِلى أَبي فأَقولُ لَه:يا أَبتِ إِنِّي خَطِئتُ إِلى السَّماءِ وإِلَيكَ. ولَستُ أَهْلاً بَعدَ ذلك لِأَن أُدْعى لَكَ ابناً، فاجعَلْني كأَحَدِ أُجَرائِكَ. فقامَ ومَضى إِلى أَبيه. وكانَ لم يَزَلْ بَعيداً إِذ رآه أَبوه، فتَحَرَّكَت أَحْشاؤُه وأَسرَعَ فأَلْقى بِنَفسِه على عُنُقِه وقَبَّلَه طَويلاً. فقالَ لَه الِابْن:يا أَبَتِ، إِنِّي خَطِئتُ إِلى السَّماءِ وإِلَيكَ، ولَستُ أَهْلاً بَعدَ ذلِكَ لأَن أُدْعى لَكَ ابناً. فقالَ الأَبُ لِخَدَمِه:أَسرِعوا فأتوا بِأَفخَرِ حُلَّةٍ وأَلبِسوه، واجعَلوا في إِصبَعِه خاتَماً وفي قَدَمَيه حِذاءً، وأتوا بالعِجْلِ المُسَمَّن واذبَحوه فنأكُلَ ونَتَنَعَّم، لِأَنَّ ابنِي هذا كانَ مَيتاً فعاش، وكانَ ضالاًّ فوُجِد. فأَخذوا يتَنَّعمون.

طلبات..أبتهالات.. تضرعات

لنقم حسنا ونصلّ بخشوع قائلين: يا رب استجب لنا     

* روح الشريعة يحيي أما حرفها فيقتل: يا رب كي ننقاد لروحك ونميز إرادتك ونفهم غاية وصاياك: نطلب منك.

*  مثال الابن الضال يدعونا للتوبة: يا رب كي نثق بحبك ورحمتك، ولا نيأس من خطايانا، ولا ننخدع بالمال والحرية، وأصدقاء السوء، إنما نخضع لشريعتك: نطلب منك.

* من أجل جميع المرضى الّذين تخنقهم الشدَّة والألم والوحدة، كن لهم الرفيق يا إلهنا فيصبح الألم بلسم، والغربة عودة إلى البيت الوالدي، والجروح الظاهرة في حياتهم اليومية إجعلها جروح إبنك الحبيب القائم من الموت، نطلب منك.

*إستقبل في حِضنك الأبويّ جميعَ الّذينّ فارقوا هذه الحياة، وأعطهم النّعمة كَي ينظروا إلى رحمتِك وغفرانِك، لا إلى ضعفهم وخطاياهم، فيجلسوا على مائدتِكَ السّماويَّةِ، غافِرًا لنا ولهُم الخطايا والزلاّت، نطلب منك.

First Reading/ Isaiah 4: 2- 6

A reading from the Book of  Isaiah Barikh-Mar:

In that day, the seedling of the Lord will have magnificence and glory, and the fruit of the earth will be greatly-esteemed and a source of joy to those who will have been saved out of Israel. And this shall be: all who are left behind in Zion, and who remain in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, all who have been written in life in Jerusalem. Then the Lord will have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and will have washed away the blood of Jerusalem from its midst, by means of a spirit of judgment and a spirit of intense devotion. And the Lord will create, over every place of Mount Zion and wherever he is called upon, a cloud by day and a smoke with the splendor of burning fire by night. For protection will be over every glory. And there will be a tabernacle for shade from the heat in daytime, and for security, and for protection from the whirlwind and from rain

This is the Word of the Lord. 

 Second Reading/ 2 Corinthians 3: 4-11; 17-18.

A reading from the Second  Letter of St. Paul to Corinthians Barikh-Mar.

And we have such faith, through Christ, toward God. It is not that we are adequate to think anything of ourselves, as if anything was from us. But our adequacy is from God. And he has made us suitable ministers of the New Testament, not in the letter, but in the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. But if the ministration of death, engraved with letters upon stones, was in glory, (so much so that the sons of Israel were not able to gaze intently upon the face of Moses, because of the glory of his countenance) even though this ministration was ineffective, how could the ministration of the Spirit not be in greater glory? For if the ministration of condemnation is with glory, so much more is the ministration of justice abundant in glory. And neither was it glorified by means of an excellent glory, though it was made illustrious in its own way. For if even what was temporary has its glory, then what is lasting has an even greater glory. Now the Spirit is Lord. And wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Yet truly, all of us, as we gaze upon the unveiled glory of the face of the Lord, are transfigured into the same image, from one glory to another. And this is done by the Spirit of the Lord.

Third Reading/ Gospel Luke 15: 11- 24

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 

And he said: “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to the father, ‘Father, give me the portion of your estate which would go to me.’ And he divided the estate between them. And after not many days, the younger son, gathering it all together, set out on a long journey to a distant region. And there, he dissipated his substance, living in luxury. And after he had consumed it all, a great famine occurred in that region, and he began to be in need. And he went and attached himself to one of the citizens of that region. And he sent him to his farm, in order to feed the swine. And he wanted to fill his belly with the scraps that the swine ate. But no one would give it to him. And returning to his senses, he said: ‘How many hired hands in my father’s house have abundant bread, while I perish here in famine! I shall rise up and go to my father, and I will say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am not worthy to be called your son. Make me one of your hired hands.’ And rising up, he went to his father. But while he was still at a distance, his father saw him, and he was moved with compassion, and running to him, he fell upon his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him: ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. Now I am not worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants: ‘Quickly! Bring out the best robe, and clothe him with it. And put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here, and kill it. And let us eat and hold a feast. For this son of mine was dead, and has revived; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to feast
