اِحْمِلُوا نِيرِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَعَلَّمُوا مِنِّي ، لأَنِّي وَدِيعٌ وَمُتَوَاضِعُ الْقَلْبِ

القراءة الاولى/ سفر أعمال الرسل   6: 1-7

أنصتوا الى سفر أعمال الرسل  (بارخمار)

في تلك الأيام كثر عدد التلاميذ، فأخذ اليهود الهلينيون يتذمرون على العبرانيين لأن أراملهم يهملن في خدمة توزيع الأرزاق اليومية فدعا الاثنا عشر جماعة التلاميذ وقالوا لهم: ((لا يحسن بنا أن نترك كلمة الله لنخدم على الموائد. فابحثوا، أيها الإخوة، عن سبعة رجال منكم لهم سمعة طيبة، ممتلئين من الروح والحكمة، فنقيمهم على هذا العمل  ونواظب نحن على الصلاة وخدمة كلمة الله فاستحسنت الجماعة كلها هذا الرأي، فاختاروا إسطفانس، وهو رجل ممتلئ من الإيمان والروح القدس، وفيليبس وبروخورس ونيقانور وطيمون وبرمناس ونيقلاوس وهو أنطاكي دخيل. ثم أحضروهم أمام الرسل، فصلوا ووضعوا الأيدي عليهم وكانت كلمة الرب تنمو، وعدد التلاميذ يزداد كثيرا في أورشليم. وأخذ جمع كثير من الكهنة يستجيبون للإيمان.

القراءة الثانية/ 2 كورنثوس  3: 18– 4

من رسالة بولس الرسول إلى أهل قورنثية : يقول  يا إخوة بارخمار

ونَحنُ جَميعًا نَعكِسُ صورةَ مَجْدِ الرَّبِّ بِوُجوهٍ مَكشوفةٍ كما في مِرآة، فنَتَحوَّلُ إِلى تِلكَ الصُّورة، ونَزدادُ مَجْدًا على مَجْد، وهذا مِن فَضْلِ الرَّبِّ الَّذي هو روح.  وأَمَّا وقَد أُعَطِينا تِلكَ الخِدمَةَ رَحمَةً، فلا تَفْتُرُ هِمَّتُنا،  بل نَرُفضُ الأَساليبَ الخَفِيَّةَ الشَّائنة، فلا نَسلُكُ طُرُقَ المَكرِ ولا نُزَوِّرُ كَلِمَةَ الله، بل نُظهِرُ الحَقَّ فنُوَصِّي بِأَنفُسِنا لدى كُلِّ ضَميرٍ إِنسانِيٍّ أَمامَ الله. 3فإِذا كانَت بِشارتُنا مَحجوبَة، فإِنَّما هي مَحجوبَةٌ عنِ السَّائِرينَ في طَريقِ الهَلاك، عن غَيرِ المُؤمِنينَ الَّذينَ أَعْمى بَصائِرَهم إِلهُ هذِه الدُنْيا، لِئَلاَّ يُبصِروا نورَ بِشارةِ مَجْدِ المسيح، وهو صُورةُ الله. فلَسْنا نَدْعو إِلى أَنْفُسِنا، بل إِلى يسوعَ المسيحِ الرَّبّ. وما نَحنُ إِلاَّ خَدَمٌ لَكم مِن أَجْلِ يسوع.  فإِنَّ اللّهَ الَّذي قال: (( لِيُشرِقْ مِنَ الظُّلمَةِ نُور )) هو الَّذي أَشرَقَ في قُلوبِنا لِيَشُعَّ نورُ مَعرِفَةِ مَجْدِ اللّه، ذلِكَ المَجْدِ الَّذي على وَجْهِ المسيح.  على أَنَّ هذا الكَنْزَ نَحمِلُه في آنِيَةٍ مِن خَزَف لِتَكونَ تِلكَ القُدرَةُ الفائِقَةُ لِلهِ لا مِن عِندِنا. يُضَيَّقُ علَينا مِن كُلِّ جِهَةٍ ولا نُحَطَّم، نَقَعُ في المآزِقِ ولا نَعجِزُ عنِ الخُروج مِنها،  نُطارَدُ ولا نُدرَك، نُصرَعُ ولا نَهلِك، نَحمِلُ في أَجسادِنا كُلَّ حِينٍ مَوتَ المسيح لِتَظهَرَ في أَجسادِنا حَياةُ المسيحِ أَيضاً .

إنجيل سيدنا يسوع المسيح للقديس متي

 حِينَئِذٍ ابْتَدَأَ يُوَبِّخُ الْمُدُنَ الَّتِي صُنِعَتْ فِيهَا أَكْثَرُ قُوَّاتِهِ لأَنَّهَا لَمْ تَتُبْ: ((وَيْلٌ لَكِ يَا كُورَزِينُ! وَيْلٌ لَكِ يَا بَيْتَ صَيْدَا! لأَنَّهُ لَوْ صُنِعَتْ فِي صُورَ وَصَيْدَاءَ الْقُوَّاتُ الْمَصْنُوعَةُ فِيكُمَا ، لَتَابَتَا قَدِيماً فِي الْمُسُوحِ وَالرَّمَادِ. وَلَكِنْ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ صُورَ وَصَيْدَاءَ تَكُونُ لَهُمَا حَالَةٌ أَكْثَرُ احْتِمَالاً يَوْمَ الدِّينِ مِمَّا لَكُمَا. وَأَنْتِ يَا كَفْرَنَاحُومَ الْمُرْتَفِعَةَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ! سَتُهْبَطِينَ إِلَى الْهَاوِيَةِ. لأَنَّهُ لَوْ صُنِعَتْ فِي سَدُومَ الْقُوَّاتُ الْمَصْنُوعَةُ فِيكِ لَبَقِيَتْ إِلَى الْيَوْمِ. وَلَكِنْ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ أَرْضَ سَدُومَ تَكُونُ لَهَا حَالَةٌ أَكْثَرُ احْتِمَالاً يَوْمَ الدِّينِ مِمَّا لَكِ)). فِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِأجَابَ يَسُوعُ وَقَالَ : ((أَحْمَدُكَ أَيُّهَا الآبُ رَبُّ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لأَنَّكَ أَخْفَيْتَ هَذِهِ عَنِ الْحُكَمَاءِ وَالْفُهَمَاءِ وَأَعْلَنْتَهَا لِلأَطْفَالِ. نَعَمْ أَيُّهَا الآبُ لأَنْ هَكَذَا صَارَتِ الْمَسَرَّةُ أَمَامَكَ. كُلُّ شَيْءٍ قَدْ دُفِعَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَبِي ، وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَعْرِفُ الاِبْنَ إِلاَّ الآبُ ، وَلاَ أَحَدٌ يَعْرِفُ الآبَ إِلاَّ الاِبْنُ وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الاِبْنُ أَنْ يُعْلِنَ لَهُ. تَعَالَوْا إِلَيَّ يَا جَمِيعَ الْمُتْعَبِينَ وَالثَّقِيلِي الأَحْمَالِ ، وَأَنَا أُرِيحُكُمْ. اِحْمِلُوا نِيرِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَعَلَّمُوا مِنِّي ، لأَنِّي وَدِيعٌ وَمُتَوَاضِعُ الْقَلْبِ فَتَجِدُوا رَاحَةً لِنُفُوسِكُمْ. لأَنَّ نِيرِي هَيِّنٌ وَحِمْلِي خَفِيفٌ)).  وَيْلٌ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْكَتَبَةُ وَالْفَرِّيسِيُّونَ الْمُرَاؤُونَ ! لأَنَّكُمْ تَبْنُونَ قُبُورَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ وَتُزَيِّنُونَ مَدَافِنَ الصِّدِّيقِينَ ، وَتَقُولُونَ: لَوْ كُنَّا فِي أَيَّامِ آبَائِنَا لَمَا شَارَكْنَاهُمْ فِي دَمِ الأَنْبِيَاءِ.فَأَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَبْنَاءُ قَتَلَةِ الأَنْبِيَاءِ. فَامْلَأُوا أَنْتُمْ مِكْيَالَ آبَائِكُمْ. أَيُّهَا الْحَيَّاتُ أَوْلاَدَ الأَفَاعِي ! كَيْفَ تَهْرُبُونَ مِنْ دَيْنُونَةِ جَهَنَّمَ؟ لِذَلِكَ هَا أَنَا أُرْسِلُ إِلَيْكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ وَحُكَمَاءَ وَكَتَبَةً ، فَمِنْهُمْ تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَصْلِبُونَ ، وَمِنْهُمْ تَجْلِدُونَ فِي مَجَامِعِكُمْ ، وَتَطْرُدُونَ مِنْ مَدِينَةٍ إِلَى مَدِينَةٍ، لِكَيْ يَأْتِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ كُلُّ دَمٍ زَكِيٍّ سُفِكَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ ، مِنْ دَمِ هَابِيلَ الصِّدِّيقِ إِلَى دَمِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ بَرَخِيَّا الَّذِي قَتَلْتُمُوهُ بَيْنَ الْهَيْكَلِ وَالْمَذْبَحِ. اَلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ هَذَا كُلَّهُ يَأْتِي عَلَى هَذَا الْجِيلِ! ((يَا أُورُشَلِيمُ ، يَا أُورُشَلِيمُ ! يَا قَاتِلَةَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ وَرَاجِمَةَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَيْهَا ، كَمْ مَرَّةٍ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَجْمَعَ أَوْلاَدَكِ كَمَا تَجْمَعُ الدَّجَاجَةُ فِرَاخَهَا تَحْتَ جَنَاحَيْهَا ، وَلَمْ تُرِيدُوا! هُوَذَا بَيْتُكُمْ يُتْرَكُ لَكُمْ خَرَاباً. لأَنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّكُمْ لاَ تَرَوْنَنِي مِنَ الآنَ حَتَّى تَقُولُوا: مُبَارَكٌ الآتِي بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ!))

لنَقِف حَسَناً بفرحٍ وابتهاج بثقة قائلين: يا رب إرحمنا   

* يا رب، من أجل أن نفهم بعمق وجدية متطلبات دعوتنا المسيحية ونعيشها بكل أبعادها، نطلب منك.

* قلتَ يا رب ألاّ نصوم كالمرائين : ولكي نَستغلَّ الصوم لنميتَ فينا الشهوة ونتغلّب على الشر: نطلب منك

* لأجل جميع الشمامسة في عيد شفيعهم مار إسطفانوس ليسلكوا جميعا على مثال شفيعهم ليتقدسوا ويشهدوا لك يا رب في كل مكان . نطلب منك

 * أذكر يا رب موتانا الراقدين على رجاء القيامة ليكن موتهم ولادة ثانية لهم في ملكوتكَ السماوي أنتَ القيامة والحق والحياة أقبل القرابين التي نقربها عنهم وأهلنا وأياهم أن ننال المراحم وغفران خطايانا وخطاياهم نطلب منك

Reading 5^th    Sunday after (Dinah) Epiphany

1st Reading: ACTS   6: 1-7

Listen to the Book of ACTS : Barekhmar.

At that time, as the number of disciples continued to grow, the Hellenists complained against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution. So the Twelve called together the community of the disciples and said, “It is not right for us to neglect the word of God to serve at table. Brothers, select from among you seven reputable men, filled with the Spirit and wisdom, whom we shall appoint to this task, whereas we shall devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” The proposal was acceptable to the whole community, so they chose Stephen, a man filled with faith and the holy Spirit, also Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicholas of Antioch, a convert to Judaism. They presented these men to the apostles who prayed and laid hands on them. The word of God continued to spread, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly; even a large group of priests were becoming obedient to the faith

2nd Reading / 2 Corinthians 3: 18-4: 10

A reading from the Second Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians  Barekhmar.

All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the spirit Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us, we are not discouraged. Rather, we have renounced shameful, hidden things; not acting deceitfully or falsifying the word of God, but by the open declaration of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even though our gospel is veiled, it is veiled for those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they may not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves 3 but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus. For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of (Jesus) Christ. But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.

Gospel Reading/ Matthew  11: 20-30 &23: 29-39

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew

Then he began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. And as for you, Capernaum: ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.’  For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.” At that time Jesus said in reply, “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him. “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the memorials of the righteous, and you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have joined them in shedding the prophets’ blood.’ Thus you bear witness against yourselves that you are the children of those who murdered the prophets; now fill up what your ancestors measured out!  You serpents, you brood of vipers, how can you flee from the judgment of Gehenna? Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and pursue from town to town, so that there may come upon you all the righteous blood shed upon earth, from the righteous blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. Amen, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how many times I yearned to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you were unwilling! Behold, your house will be abandoned, desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”
